Audi RS 4 Avant: Tuning by Sportec

With its 450 hp (331 kW) ex works, the Audi RS 4 Avant is anything but underpowered. The Sportec tuning package proves that more is still possible – and not just in terms of performance.

After tuning by the Swiss Spezi Sportec, the 2.9-liter V6 biturbo of the Audi RS 4 Avant of the B9 generation delivers a whopping 510 hp (374 kW), which makes it the right counterpart for the brand new M3 Touring. In addition to software optimization, the measures include a new sports exhaust, which alone contributes ten additional horsepower. An X-Pipe optimizes the sound, while the pipe routing of the double-flow stainless steel exhaust system from the catalytic converter and petrol particle filter has been specifically optimized. The standard flap control is also optionally available in its own Sportec version. Because not only the power but also the maximum torque can now be increased to 760 Newton meters, the driving performance is consistently better. The Sportec RS 4 accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.49 seconds – a full 0.6 seconds faster than the series counterpart. The top speed has also been increased. The Swiss promise that the Audi RS 4 Avant can reach speeds of up to 299 km/h after the Sportec tuning.
